On behalf of Italfarmaco Rare Disease Nordics, Haeger&Carlsson Executive Search and Interim is looking for a dynamic Integrated Healthcare Manager to join their Nordic team at the forefront of a groundbreaking treatment for the neuromuscular disorder Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
The Integrated Healthcare Manager is responsible for developing and executing regional and clinic-specific account plans to enhance understanding of treatment value, with the objective of ensuring appropriate patient access and uptake. The role involves implementing omnichannel activities to communicate treatment and product information effectively within the assigned region. It requires maintaining in-depth knowledge of the DMD market, treatment landscape, and the Nordic healthcare system. A strong focus is placed on delivering high-quality external engagement guided by the principles of patient centricity, trust, and reputation. The role reports to Commercial Lead.
The position requires a results-driven professional with solid experience in specialty care sales, preferably within rare diseases. A strong scientific mindset, combined with business acumen and a proactive, self-led approach, is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust, lead cross-functional collaboration, and drive customer engagement through both strategic planning and hands-on execution. Core qualities include a supportive team attitude, openness to diverse perspectives, and a solutions-oriented approach to working with others across the organization.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement clinic account plans to ensure “clinic readiness to treat” to enhance patient access and uptake for eligible patients and to ensure correct safety measures:
- Develop and implement robust cross functional plans for clinics within the region, based on customer insights and are consistent with Italfarmaco Nordics’ strategy
- Understand the local market needs to generate insights and develop key tactics to enhance patients access and continued benefit from appropriate treatment
- Identify challenges which may limit full patient access to treatment and deliver plans to overcome through collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure effective management of activity cost and budgeting
- Develop and apply a holistic understanding of the healthcare system and wider ecosystem of the therapy area. Always seek understanding of the specific needs of HCPs, decision makers, local payers and patients in the ecosystem and connect this to how Italfarmaco Nordics can care for patients with our product and solutions
- To work within and contribute to a high performing cross functional team through supporting colleagues, taking leadership of agreed national projects and delivering tailored solutions to regional/national challenges
Implement face to face and omnichannel engagement activities:
- Identify and develop key relationships within the territory, including key opinion leaders to positively influence advocacy and adoption. Ensure a collaborative approach to developing Key Opinion Leaders / stakeholders, working closely with MLM, medical and commercial colleagues to advance programs and initiatives
- Leverage available resources and collaborate with team to enhance/localize as needed
- Collaboration with Nordic Omnichannel Manager on planning and execution of events and webinars, both at a Nordic and local level, to raise knowledge of our therapy options
- Deliver a hybrid approach to customer engagement using omnichannel tactics balancing face to face, meetings/events and digital interactions and maintaining high quality partnership level engagement across all relevant stakeholder groups
- Ensure multidisciplinary team full understanding of treatment initiation, ongoing management, understanding of clinical outcomes and benefits of the treatment
- Use all applicable tools & technology to maximise sales targets and goals in line with Italfarmaco and industry ethical, compliance and legal standards
- Maintain active reporting and recording of engagements using CRM system to demonstrate progress verses agreed objectives
Deep knowledge of Duvyzat and the Nordic DMD treatment landscape:
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare structure and processes
- Continuously update knowledge of data, healthcare environment and relevant DMD publications to fully support customer engagement
- Develop expertise in territory DMD management and ability to share best practices within territory and nationally/internationally
Education & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, healthcare, or a related field
- Completed pharma industry training and certification valid within the Nordic countries
- Significant experience in specialty care sales, preferably within rare diseases
- Strong analytical, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data for effective territory planning and account development
- Proven influencing, networking, and relationship-building abilities
- Strong planning and project management skills, with a proactive approach to driving projects and activities
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, team spirit, and a cross-functional mindset, combined with a positive and constructive approach to teamwork and cooperation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both local language and English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Solid experience with digital channels, including Veeva, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams)
