In this role, you will be tasked with establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key accounts, customers, and other relevant stakeholders in the Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) community, while achieving set performance targets for BioCryst products.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Delivery of sales targets for Orladeyo in the Scandinavian markets (Norway, Sweden & Denmark).
- Development of Key account plans to include identification and development of all relevant accounts and customers in his/her region/territory, local customer and communication plans and use of innovative concepts to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes and drive use of BioCryst products.
- With the goal to be the preferred partner and trusted advisor build long term relationships and projects with key customers.
- Initiation, organization and implementation of medical educational events in the assigned region/territory; participation at local and national congresses and events.
- Successful management of accounts/customers according to highest standards of compliance with principles of good corporate governance, professional and ethical behavior and safety standards, national legal requirements, and regulations.
- Have “game changing” conversations with our customers, compliantly utilizing effective selling techniques and marketing strategies to create and expand demand for promoted brand(s) for which he/she is responsible.
- Be extremely customer-focused and able to build and foster strong positive long term relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders.
- Focus on the end results of the sales process, demonstrating personal accountability, a sense of urgency and commitment to achieve business objectives.
- Exemplify strong collaboration and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.
The role reports to Commercial Director Nordics and will play a crucial part in the UK/Nordics team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech selling experience.
- Scientific University degree (Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) a plus.
- Strong track record as a key account manager in successfully exceeding sales goals in Rare Diseases, Specialty Care or in a similar specialist environment.
- Knowledge of relevant disease states and current treatments is an advantage.
- Proven ability to create and innovate, build and expand business and work both independently as well as in teams.
- Excellent analytical/strategic, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Scandinavian experience is a merit.
- Fluency in local languages and English, both oral and written communications.
