Launching a ground-breaking new technology in Digital Pathology
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the new CEO to lead Lumito and its product into the commercialisation phase, internationally.
Lumito has the potential to become a leading provider of novel technology in digital pathology for cancer diagnostics. The company are at the brink of launching the first product of its kind globally, SCIZYS, in 2024. SCIZYS has patented technology that provides users with high-quality tissue images with enhanced contrast. The system creates visual representations without a disruptive background of irrelevant tissue and with a very low detection threshold. This novel technology has proven to be valuable in image analysis and easy to apply to AI supportive decisions tools.
We are seeking a CEO with a strong focus on sales, and passionate about making deals happen.
As the CEO of the company, you will have the opportunity to lead Lumitos journey towards further success with a clear direction and vision, aligning the team's efforts towards the company's common goals. You should have substantial experience from working with medical technology products, be results-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Lumito’s operations and employees.
- Develop and implement the company's strategy and business plan in collaboration with the board to achieve the company's business goals.
- Goal and sales strategy, including working with distributors and within and outside the EU.
- Be responsible for dealing with BD opportunities with major players in the marketplace.
- Taking lead in raising capital and investor relations to the requirements of a publicly traded company.
- Ensure that the company meets quality and regulatory requirements for its operations and sales in different geographical markets.
- Drive the company's product development to ensure that products meet customer performance and usage requirements - now and in the future.
- Ensure relevant clinical and medical input for product development, clinical studies, and support for sales and marketing, including contacts with opinion leaders.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience leading successful sales teams in life science, preferably medical technology.
- Experience as a salesperson in the healthcare sector (or solution-oriented sales) with a good understanding of the Go-to-Market models and the whole Sales process.
- Solid experiences in raising capital and investor relations, according to the requirements of a publicly traded company.
- Understanding the different functions within a medical technology company, e.g. R&D, QA&RA, Medical/Clinical, and Production/Logistics.
- Personnel and results management experience.
- Financial management experience.
