Haeger & Carlsson is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager within IVD Product development on behalf of an innovative diagnostics company. This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a central role in taking breakthrough diagnostic solutions from concept to global market launch and expansion.

About the Role

You will lead high‑impact development projects across diagnostic systems and assays, ensuring efficient execution, regulatory compliance, and successful commercialization. This includes driving new product development as well as ongoing updates and lifecycle improvements. Leading cross‑functional teams across R&D, QA/RA, and Operations, you will guide products from early feasibility through global launch, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and scalable solutions ready for international markets.

About You

You hold a master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field and bring extensive experience in IVD or medical device product development. You have a proven track record of leading global diagnostic system launches and possess deep knowledge of IVDR, FDA pathways, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971. You thrive in international, cross‑functional environments and bring strong stakeholder‑management skills, including collaboration with senior leadership.

High proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Swedish language skills are a strong advantage. The role is based in Uppsala, where daily on‑site presence is important for strong collaboration and successful outcomes.
