An innovative global CRO organisation in the life sciences sector is seeking a VP, Head of Internal Medicine & Neuroscience business unit. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial leader for the Internal Medicine & Neuroscience business, developing and executing growth strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Identify new business opportunities and lead the development of proposals, bids, and commercial negotiations.
• Hold full P&L responsibility for the business unit, managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Oversee operational delivery of clinical trials and services, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline targets.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture aligned with organisational values and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a deep understanding of the relevant regulatory environment.
• Represent the business at industry events and executive forums, providing thought leadership and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and contribute to overall company strategy.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, with a strong track record in commercial leadership, P&L management, and operational delivery.
• Experience in designing and/or managing clinical trials in Internal Medicine & Neuroscience.
• Deep regulatory, scientific, technical, and clinical expertise in the therapeutic area, gained in CRO and Pharma/Biotech environments.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience representing organisations at executive and industry levels.
• Consultative and collaborative approach to project implementation.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).
