Timik Medical Oy in Finland is a subsidiary of Timik Group, Nordics. The company is growing and is now seeking an experienced Bid & Contract Specialist (BCS) to Finland.

As a Bid & Contract Specialist in Finland, you play an important role in both the Finnish and Nordic teams. You will together with the Bid and Contract Manager operationally act as project manager in all aspects of the Bid process. The BCS will lead the work and ensure that the tender is delivered in a professional and a timely manner. During a bid the BCS will be an expert on tender documents, tender admin flow and act as project coordinator.

Haeger & Carlsson is looking for someone who already has vast experience of similar tasks, working in-depth with tender and contract processes. The prior experience should be from either MedTech or pharmaceutical companies in Finland. Perhaps even some experience from tender work in the other Nordic countries. 

The Bid & Contract Specialist needs to be energetic and thrive working with multiple tasks. Be patient and honest with a passion for the healthcare sector and for improving patients’ lives. Possess a proactive “can do” attitude and work independently and take ownership and responsibility for delivery of agreed objectives and targets. Good Swedish language skills are beneficial for the role.

Main tasks, duties & responsibilities:

• Participate in and co-lead the project team for procurement and Request For Information (RFI).
• Together with local sales companies and product teams, optimize TIMIK's offering.
• Responsibility for ensuring that tenders are formally correct and delivered on time.
• Together with other members of the Bid and Contract Office, maintain and develop tools and processes around master data and legal documents.
• Together with the local sales companies, assist with contract follow-up and entering agreements in House of Control.
• Coordinate work on product samples.
• Identify opportunities for improvements and streamlining in procurement work and processes around management of bid and contract documentation.
• The BCS at TIMIK Group has the authority to manage all aspects of the bid and contract process. Submit tenders, bids and contracts on behalf of the local sales companies.

Competence requirements/ Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of solid experience managing public procurement tenders, combined with a strong background in administration and/or sales support within the MedTech or Pharma industry.
• Experience from complex tender business work.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Good financial acumen.
• Ability to work in a structured and organised way.
• PC Literate/MS Office (Excel, Power point) and CRM system.
• Experience working with procurement systems in Finland and other Nordic countries. Particularly relevant is familiarity with the Finnish tendering platform Hilma, which is used for publishing public procurements in Finland.
• Fluent in Finnish and English (oral and written), Swedish is a merit.

The role is based in Helsinki, Finland and reports to the Bid & Contract Manager in Sweden.
