Nordic Value & Access Lead - Italfarmaco

On behalf of Italfarmaco we are now recruiting a Nordic Value & Access Lead.
Italfarmaco is currently in a start-up phase in the Nordic region and in this role, you will strongly contribute to the establishment of the company within rare disease in the region.
As the Nordic V&A Lead, you will play a pivotal role in executing the brand strategy and report to the Nordic GM Italfarmaco Rare Disease.
Italfarmaco is a private Italian multinational company operating in Italy and abroad in both the pharmaceutical and chemical pharmaceutical industries. The company was established in 1938 with the mission to contribute to the improvement of the quality and the prolongation of human lifespan related to disorders such as immuno-oncologic, hemato-oncologic and rare disease.
Responsibilities
- Be a key member of the Nordic cross-functional leadership team, contributing to the Givinostat strategy.
- Work closely with the Nordic GM and V&A leadership team to implement effective country V&A strategies.
- Identify right mix of clinical & HTA value communication, pricing & contracting and value demonstration capabilities.
- Define and implement the Nordic V&A strategy, lead the pricing & contracting as well as the governance & policy processes.
- Oversee the development of specific value communication and evidence documents as well as health economic models in collaboration with the global V&A team.
- Represent Italfarmaco towards payers & policymakers.
- Drive effective processes for pre-launch strategic and tactical plans.
Requirements
- Relevant academic degree (scientific, medical, Health Economics, and/or business management background).
- + 8 years of pharma or biotech country market access and Governmental Affairs leadership roles.
- Orphan drug experience is a merit.
- Manage multiple projects and effectively influence, collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners.
- Strong and proven project management skills.
- Proven influence and impact on the healthcare system in the Nordics.
- Experience in effectively managing external vendors and budget.
- Proven track record in building successful teams.
- Ability to travel primarily within the Nordics.
- Hands-on approach with a "can-do" attitude.
- Strong personal drive, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Strong team-worker with a cross-functional mindset.
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and one Nordic language.
