CarpoNovum is a Swedish company founded in 2006, focusing on innovation, manufacturing and delivery of a new generation surgical instruments for colorectal surgery. On their behalf we are now recruiting a Clinical Field Trainer.

The instruments are CE marked and are intended for open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. The method is patented, unique and has great health-economic benefits, lowering the leakage rate compared to traditional methods such as sutures and staples.

The company’s headquarters, in-house R&D, and manufacturing facilities are located in Halmstad, Sweden.

The position is remote with home office in Europe.

Overview

As a Clinical Field Trainer, you will be instrumental in training and supporting healthcare professionals in the effective use of our MedTech products, particularly within surgical environments. Your expertise, drawn from previous experience as a nurse or from working in the medical device space, you will ensure that surgeons and medical teams are fully trained in using their products. This role demands a mature, grounded individual with a strong understanding of clinical practices in surgical settings, and the flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training: Provide in-depth training to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on the proper use and application of Carponovum’s products within the operating room.

Surgical Support: Offer hands-on support during surgeries, ensuring that medical teams are confident and proficient in the use of the company's products.

Application Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on the clinical application of the company’s products, providing guidance and troubleshooting during procedures.

Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and workshops for healthcare providers, showcasing the features and benefits of the company’s products..

Customer Support: Work closely with healthcare providers to address any questions or concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and product adoption.

Travel: Be prepared for frequent travel across Europe to meet the training and support needs of various healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

Clinical Background: Previous experience as a nurse, in surgical settings, or extensive experience from the MedTech industry with focusing on surgical procedures.

MedTech Experience: Strong familiarity with MedTech products, particularly those used in surgical environments.

Training Expertise: Proven ability to deliver effective training programs to healthcare professionals, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and medical teams.

Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel across Europe.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where roles and responsibilities may evolve over time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the MedTech industry.
• Familiarity with the regulatory requirements for medical devices in Europe.
