Cluster Medical Advisor, Rare Diseases - Otsuka, Nordics Benelux

On behalf of Otsuka we are recruiting a Medical Advisor, Rare Diseases for the Nordics and Benelux cluster. In this role you will coordinate the medical affairs team, information and task flow between different stakeholder groups at Global, European and local level within the therapeutic area.

Coordinate the MSL and MA team within Rare Diseases.
Coordinate medical strategy for inline products, supporting MSLs in medical affairs plan creation.
Study management (IIS proposals, OSS, RWE): Align on priorities and guide the team in study processes and practices.
Lead and support evidence generation plans and publication plans.
Align Medical Affairs Plan to Brand Strategy.
Provide medical input to country HTA process/applications within the therapeutic area.
Regular follow up on Medical Affaris Plan and KOL engagement.
Accountable for medical affairs area budget, projects, activities.
Maintain close collaboration with colleagues to align on marketed products and to ensure launch readiness.
Participate in weekly core team meetings for the assigned therapeutical area.
Lead and ensure execution of the medical scientific training and development of the team.
Be the medical representative in different global, regional and local meetings.
Ensure implementation of medical affairs scientific platforms and processes as required.
Relevant academic degree, PhD preferred.
Solid experience in Medical Affairs.
Proven experience launching new pharmaceutical products.
Experience in the therapy field is an advantage (Orphan drugs, Immunology, Genetic disorders).
As a person you are proactive, solution-oriented, a team player with strong networking skills.
You are structured and you are good at prioritizing.
You have an objective and scientific approach.
You have excellent organization and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
