Key Account Manager, Rare Diseases - Sweden and Finland

We are recruiting a Key Account Manager to a successful and innovative global biotechnology company that invests in scientific innovation to create transformative medicines for patients with serious and life-threatening rare diseases. The company is market leader in its therapeutic area and has several products on the market as well as a vibrant pipeline.
As Key Account Manager you will ensure that all barriers to usage of the company’s rare disease medicines are addressed, and that all patients who could benefit from the products have access. Primarily in Sweden but also in Finland.
As Key Account Manager you will be part of the Nordic Team and report directly to the Country Manager. The company´s Nordic head office is located in central Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interacts with a wide variety of key stakeholders in assigned geography (Sweden and Finland).
- Supports the development and execution of account level business plans that are insight driven and will move the business forward.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of disease, local drivers, treatment and referral patterns, key account profiles, influence patterns, reimbursement, and barriers to optimal care.
- Facilitates the coordination of internal and external resources to enhance patient care and ensures delivery of account plan targets.
- Works collaboratively across functional areas to achieve common goals.
- Works with marketing lead to create and execute marketing plans.
- Accountable for performance at the territory level and contributes to regional and national team performance.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree.
- Demonstrates active listening skills as a springboard for creating relevant value to customers and key stakeholders.
- Ability to manage scientific data, and to communicate it effectively to different audiences (e.g. physician, hospital director, regional payer).
- Conceptual understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
- Demonstrates team-based skills and can network across boundaries.
- Rare disease or specialty medicine experience.
- You have excellent communication skills both in verbal and written English and Swedish. If you speak Finnish, it would be an advantage.
