HR and Communication Manager - SmartCella

We are looking for a HR and Communication Manager to SmartCella. As HR and Communication Manager at SmartCella, you will play a central role in leading and developing the overall HR and internal communication for the SmartCella Group.
SmartCella is the holding company of Procella Therapeutics and SmartWise. Procella is focused on developing cardiac stem cell therapy technology leveraging research from Harvard University and the Karolinska Institute with the aim of treating heart failure. Smartwise develops a new vascular microcatheter injection technology.
The role as HR and Communication Manager is both strategic and operational and responsible for delivering high-quality HR and communication services to support employees, managers, and the business to achieve their overall goals.
The HR and Communication Manager will report to the CFO as primary reporting line and to the CEO and the Heads of Procella and Smartwise for the HR matters within each business area. This is a position for you who have a solid HR experience and who is attracted by taking an overall HR and communication responsibility for an innovative Life Science company group.
Their office is situated in Tullinge, Stockholm.
Main tasks within HR
- Plan, lead and develop the HR function.
- Develop tools and processes within HR and ensure that policies and routines are in place.
- Responsible for the entire employee cycle.
- Provide advice to the CEOs and other managers regarding labor law, policies, processes, and other issues within HR.
- Conduct and follow up employee surveys.
- Manage the systematic work environment tasks.
- Contact person for the company’s outsourcing partners in salary and pension.
Main tasks in communication
- Lead and develop internal communication together with the management as well as external communication related to HR and recruitment.
- Work with the development of content and function on the intranet/SharePoint and in social media
- Responsible for meeting structure and content at staff meetings.
- Make sure that information is accessible, open and culture-bearing.
Requirements and Qualifications
- University Degree and >5 years of experience of broad work in HR.
- Developing HR policies and processes.
- Great interest in communication and experience of working with internal communication and social media.
- Experience from Life Science/Pharmaceutical industry and / or start-ups is a strong plus.
- You are an excellent communicator in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
- You take initiatives, come up with new ideas and have the ability to make things happen in practice.
- You are structured and can organize and prioritize activities.
- You have an outgoing personality and socially active in professional contexts.
