Head of Global Sales - Svar Life Science

We are looking for a Head of Global Sales for Svar Life Science. Svar Life Science is a global supplier and partner within drug discovery and clinical diagnostics. The company has nearly 30 years of experience serving the life science market with diagnostic products, assay solutions, and laboratory services aimed at helping customers move forward in the drug development process and ensuring optimal treatment of patients by providing accurate assay solutions for the clinical diagnostic laboratory. 
Svar Life Science has 125 employees and the company headquarter is located in Malmö. 
The main task of the Head of Global Sales is to deliver the path to growth by leading, developing, and managing the sales team, as well as driving commercialization and commercial excellence throughout the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage the Sales team including our US Sales Operation.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate the team for optimal performance.
  • Having customer and sales responsibility for dedicated area (geographical).
  • Develop a relevant KPI structure and reporting framework including accurate sales.
  • Monitor key sales success factors such as the sales pipeline, CRM processes, sales forecasting, key account management, market & competitor intelligence, price and margin optimization and customer satisfaction.
  • Be part of the Commercial Management Team and collaborate with other department heads to ensure commercial success.


Requirements

  • MSc degree in relevant business or natural science academic discipline.
  • At least five years’ experience in a similar international sales management role, preferably in selling to biotechnology and pharmaceutical researchers and organizations.
  • Strong and proven leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated technical, negotiation and selling skills based on customer needs.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset are commercially driven and result oriented.
  • You are structured, organized and are used to work with accountability and freedom under responsibility.
  • The position is based in Sweden and will encompass extensive travelling.
  • You are an excellent communicator verbally and written both in Swedish and English.
